| Description: | The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for guiding Information Technology projects from requirements through execution. The candidate will partner with various departments at Allconnect to gain a true understanding of the business problem to be solved, and will apply critical thinking skills and knowledge of information technology to document those requirements for use in design, development and testing. In addition to requirements definition, the Senior Business Analyst will manage projects from design through deployment, working as the primary channel for communication between the business and Information Technology.
The Senior Business Analyst must be capable of adapting to a fast paced, ever changing environment at a growing company. The candidate must be able to manage multiple medium to large scale efforts at any given time. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to rapidly establish relationships with key business and IT personnel to ensure all members of the team have what they need to achieve success.

| Duties: | ~ Serve as the primary IT interface for various departments. Keep these client departments informed of status on projects, enhancements, production issues, and routine requests. Understand the prioritization of projects within these departments and communicate those priorities to IT colleagues.
~ Read, understand, and decompose project business cases until it is thoroughly understood how an IT solution can achieve the desired business result. Identify previously unarticulated assumptions in the business case, if any.
~ Guide projects from preliminary requirements through execution.
~ Elicit system requirements, validate and document them.
~ Develop functional specifications, coordinate development of prototypes (if applicable), write use case specifications.
~ Manage IT projects post requirements through deployment. Assist appropriate IT staff as they design solutions. Assemble and maintain project plans based on information provided by development team and other IT delivery personnel.
~ Serve as primary point of contact for development team and other IT delivery personnel.
~ Mentor junior business analyst(s) as appropriate.

| Qualifications: | ~ Bachelor's degree from 4-year college or university.
~ 3+ years experience in a similar role as business analyst, systems analyst or equivalent.
~ 3+ years experience writing business requirements documents.
~ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
~ Breadth of technology understanding and ability to communicate with technology professionals.
~ Strong customer service mentality.
~ Obsessive attention to detail.
~ Project management experience including the use of project management software such as MS Project.
~ Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
~ Demonstrated success in applying critical thinking skills.
